1. Of course this prosecution is completely corrupt

Nonetheless, there is a certain element of karma because, had Comey simply done his job according toe DoJ policy. there is no question that Hillary would have been President in 2017, and Trump likely would have disappeared from the scene.

And it is also ironic (in the tragic sense) that lifelong Republican Comey, who tipped the election to Trump, never got the slightest bit of support from a single elected Republican as Trump weaponized government to attack Comey and others on his enemies list.

Considering all of that, I have a lot of difficulty working up much sympathy for Comey, even though I know this is all wrong and terrible for our country. I just wish some Republicans would step up to do what is right. Why do Democrats have to be the ones trying to save things every time?

2. I certainly agree with everything you said, but then the next two that TFG plans to prosecute are

New York AG Letitia James (who I voted for) and California Senator Adam Schiff. What could TFG possibly make up about either of them??

3. So far, at least, cases like this have been thrown out very quickly

I'm not a lawyer, so I have no idea if there is anything different about these cases, but they seem transparently malicious. Hopefully Trump's lawyers will face heavy sanctions, hopefully disbarment.
