removed, that it is being repaired, and the attempts at another permit to display it again is critical persistence. People’s creative courage is inspiring. It makes me think of the Trump Baby Balloon Blimp, the Russian anti Putin feminist group “Pussy Riot”, and all the political cartoons, protest songs, films, and comedians that help squelch authoritarian use of fear to speak truth to power. We laugh, sing, listen, share, understand and with resolve spread that truth. Truth is the authoritarian’s nightmare. Thank you for posting the update to the tale of the statue.
