What if Vance and Hegseth are going to announce that Trump needs to be removed and they want to ensure that the military support the removal and will help to maintain order if Trump supporters engage in civil unrest.

2. That would be a dream come true for so many Americans, but Vance/Hegseth would not be desirable replacements

But if they stopped the deportations and the ICE threats in cities, it just might be worth it.

3. It was something I dreamt

Last night I dreamt that Vance and those who finance him had decided it was time to remove Trump. Military brass were forewarned as it was feared countries hostile to the U.S. would take advantage of the change in leadership so everyone was put on high alert for attacks at home and abroad. Trump did not approve of what he saw as a coup and riled up his supporters who embarked on a spree of violence that forced a declaration of martial law. Everything was locked down other than emergency services and Internet access was suspended which made the entire ordeal even more terrifying. I was rushing to gather up my family and their pets and trying to get them to my house to keep them safe before the lockdown was implemented. Traffic was so gridlocked and I feared we wouldn't make it to the house before all hell broke loose. Military drones were everywhere and I didn't know if they were just monitoring or if they were equipped with weaponry that would incinerate my car as I tried to get everyone back to my house. It was just something I dreamt and which I thought was rather strange and very disheartening.

4. Yikes! That is one scary nightmare!

Though what is going on now is enough of a nightmare, so it's not surprising. There are times it hits me and I'm shocked all over again. I live in upstate rural New York not near any major cities so I figured we were relatively safe here in the North Country. But I heard last week that a nearby restaurant where I've been many times is closing early now since there was an ICE raid which rounded up that many employees. And then even further up north another restaurant had to close down completely for the same reason. I cannot fathom how this horror show is acceptable to anybody.
