'We Ain't Buying It': Boycotts take aim at businesses not opposing Trump - CNN

Activist groups including Indivisible, Until Freedom, and Black Voters Matter say that Target, Home Depot and Amazon have "caved to Donald Trump's. . .attacks on our communities and our values." They are calling for a pressure campaign and boycott dubbed "We Ain't Buying It."

CNN's Victor Blackwell speaks with LaTosha Brown, co-founder of Black Voters Matter and organizer of "We Ain't Buying It."

I’ve been boycotting these stores (and more) for ages, and I think the boycotts need to be bigger.

I also resent that Target’s CEO wasn’t fired—he was simply demoted.

Shopping small and local is the best thing we can do to hurt these guys—and help our local economies—IMHO.

and since my family is gone and I don't have friends with kids to buy stuff for, "I aint buyin' it" is generally what I do from mid November to mid January.

This year will be a tough sell, especially for people with kids. Next year, stupid economic policies should be biting us hard and adults will be giving each other pounds of coffee or packs of Hershey bars, while kids will oranges and tangerines in their stockings instead of plastic crap from China. If something doesn't change, it could get that bad.
