Is there NO WAY to reign in these 'paid for' judges and courts? (Senator Whitehouse's explanation of "amicus briefs" just floored me. In effect, RICH MEN can INDEED control the courts by sending a FLOOD of these briefs along for any litigation that might threaten their hold on their money and their power. They are the dog whistles, the wink and the nod to the high court to side with their interests.)
