When The Government Ignores The Courts - Andrew Weissmann

This week, I took time to answer a pressing question many of you raised: What happens when a president simply refuses to follow the law? In the case of Abrego Garcia—a man wrongfully deported despite a court order protecting him—the government is now flouting rulings from a district court and the Supreme Court.

We are watching a potential constitutional crisis unfold in real time. I break down what’s happening—and why it matters. - Andrew Weissmann - 04/14/2025.

He understands that rule of law is a lost ideal, quaint and outdated.

Could have easily added Well played Donald Trump.

RIP USA.

..... does the USSC finally realize that giving djt such a wide path of immunity was big-big mistake ?

The 9-0 ruling makes it seem that realization is in motion..

Corporations are people - and have 1st Ammendment Rights Of Free Speech & Citizens United might too have been a ruling gone too far.

The judicial ruled the courts null and void and handed way too much power to the executive branch.

Now trDUMP is on a giveme, giveme grab fest. Fuck the other two branches of government - who formerly had oversight roles of the executive branch. Djt don't need thems no more or their stick your nose in my business - opinions.

Step aside,... the Tangerine Tyrant has got this ... get lost, take a hike.

Since the Republican majority in Congress is too afraid to oppose TFG, it's up to the courts, especially SCOTUS, to assert their rulings against TFG.
