Yes, what is happening to farmers is horrendous, 100% of it happening because a bunch of bloated plutocrats didn't realize that programs like SNAP and USAID provided additional markets for farmers even when they did something stupid to screw up international trade.

These guys will get their bailouts and then they'll vote GOP again and again. They're just waiting for enough of a rebellion among GOPs that Johnson has to return to DC and start doing his damned job.

Farmers were loosing their farms and committing suicide when the regan economy hit it's full stride. Now the orange guy with the blond squirrel on his head is hitting them again, when will they learn?
