It's not just lip service to them or even just image boosting so the public will shop there. Many companies actually believe that DEI makes them stronger, more agile, more able to adapt. With a more diverse set of skills and leaders, companies can recognize threats and opportunities better than less diverse companies. It's something these companies have built into them, it's something they not only believe in, but it's something they can measure the gains from.

To many modern companies, its not just about being fair and equitable, DEI is also about winning.
