43. My theory is her personal phone was stolen as well and she is too embarrassed to admit it

because of all the current scandals about Signal chats.

So she is converting the value of her phone into "cash".

$3000 isn't enough for a payoff. It could be an insurance scam but she makes $250K so presumably she would have better things to do with her time. The only other plausible explanation for me is she was buying drugs.
