On Linkedin analytic jobs in the insurance industry have over 100+ people applying. That doesn't even include the likely duplicate posting on Indeed.

One of my mentee's said he would hire me in an instant, but doesn't have anything as they laid off half the company.

And old manager says he walks into the office everyday wondering if its his last. Said if he survives until the end of the year, he's going to retire early. The stress and grey hair is just too much.

Insurance mill companies (they sell several companies in auto) are hiring like crazy because people are looking to reduce their auto insurance bill. Soon as I move, one of them told me to just give them a call. So I could do that during the day and go after my Master's online afterwards.
