If he's a citizen, he should be accorded (or denied, as things are trending these days) his rights just as any other arrested person, full Miranda (I think the question of whether or not he can afford a lawyer can be dispensed with in his case).

Somehow, I doubt we will see a trial where he is the defendant. What he might say in open court might contain things Trump will not want said with the cameras rolling.
