7. There's probably a lot changed since the late 60s

But back then they taught history in such a dry, uninteresting way that it was my most hated subject in grade school.
Only when watching series like James Burke’s “Connections” did history come alive for me. I still couldn’t care less about the sequence and dates of presidents or kings, but their achievements might have an impact still and that is what I’ve subsequently determined was missing for me.
