Proudly. Especially if it's your heritage.

But when protesting and violence is happening at the protests, cars are being lighted on fire.... you really want people to equate the Mexican flag with that?

Please.

And yes, the american public would be more ashamed of police, ice and military violence against someone holding an American flag vs. a Mexican flag. (it's the optics of it, plain and simple.). I'm simply pointing out the obvious here.

Re: Pride flags... I live in Brooklyn and there are pride flags all over the place right now. Yay. But if someone was holding a pride flag and lighting cars on fire at a protest? The media would be slamming them. DON'T DO VIOLENCE. But also, don't hold foreign flags while doing violence.
