15. What do I wish an evil man receives for his birthday? A kind heart.

I think he could use one. It doesn’t seem like he’s ever known sincere joy, true happiness, or quiet contentment—and it shows. At one point, it could have really helped him.

But the truth is, he’s one of the Broken Men now; beyond redemption in any earth-bound, practical sense. Any hope I hold for him is as wasted as his remaining days on this earth.
