TFG is looking for the biggest fight he can so that he can take full dictatorial control over the country. Thus the NG and the Marines. Also expect him to start supplementing these with "temporary" ICE personnel out of Blackwater, Eric Prince's mercenary company.

We are on the edge of a hot civil war at this point.
