A sea change is taking place right now, and it will likely continue. I think in the months leading up to the 2020 election, people, Democrats especially, were willing to take the attitude that the MAGA were misguided or being brainwashed, but they were pissed with Trump for his incompetence and meanness more than anything.

Now, Trump is showing his true intent, and the realization being made is that the MAGA are OUR Nazis. For a while, you saw Trump supporters in all the social media channels, but I've noticed that they are increasingly being banned and blocked, and the ones that are sympathetic are becoming MUCH less quiet about it. Trump survives by bullying and bravado, but frankly his support is looking increasingly thin and tenuous, and when your modus operandi is to be that capitulation is inevitable, this is not a good look.

When people believe that they may not have the ability to influence things peacefully and politically, they suddenly become very covetous of the right to vote.
