Not sure what you mean by ‘blue blue’, but it’s definitely blue. That’s my district. It includes key parts of Northern Virginia, including most of Fairfax County. Before his death, Connelly openly supported his Chief of Staff James Walkinshaw to replace him. Walkinshaw is generally considered the frontrunner in the race. Hogg’s choice Shin is young (37 - looks about 15) and would seem to be a long shot. Honestly, I’m not aware that any of the contenders have a whole lot of name recognition.
