In reply to the discussion: Regime Change Needed in Israel [View all]Bread and Circuses
(966 posts)23. I disagree
Hi,
If Israel wants to continue bombing other countries they can do it with their OWN money. Im concerned that the extremists that you mention will attack USA because weve supplied the weapons.
Im heartbroken to come to this conclusion. In fact, I received a donation letter from the Holocaust Museum yesterday and I looked at it and had to toss it away.
That should tell you, who I am . Ive been a donor to The Anti-Defamation League (ADL). lm depressed about Israels hardliners. So, dont be angry with me. Israel has been taken over by a corrupt autocracy. Thats the source of our misery.
I know this is difficult, I support the Israeli people. But this moment of time is important to call out ALL the criminal leaders around the globe. That includes Putin, Netanyahu and Trump.
Precisely because Israel is a small nation that it should have sought alliances with Egypt, for example.
Netanyahu has refused to denounce Russian aggression.
Long-serving Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated his objection to a Palestinian state on two separate occasions, in 2015 and 2023.

Their gov't has certainly demonstrated that they have no respect for our opinions,

Interesting -- the biggest threat to Netanyahu's government are the ultra orthodox Haredi

Isn't this the faction that's very militant and pro war but don't have to serve?

Perhaps the opposite--I've read that some Haredi oppose a political State of Israel because the Messiah hasn't come yet

Thanks. I know there is one faction like that but I'm not sure what they're known as.
