7. i used to have an Iranian friend

who is now a professor in California.

He taught me so much about the culture
and language,

He translated a lot of the poetry for me,
and it wasso beautiful.

I came to think that the Persians have an
incredible affinity to beauty.

I would hate to see that lost.
