Given the antipathy he has toward non-whites -- especially ones in positions of authority -- Obama's award has been eating at him since early in his first term.

The Nobel Peace Prize isn’t something you apply for—it’s something you’re nominated for, and only by a select group of people:

Members of national governments and parliaments,
University professors in fields like history, law, philosophy and theology,
Directors of peace research institutes,
Past Nobel Peace Prize laureates,
Members of the International Court of Justice and similar bodies, and
Current and former members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

Sorry TACO, unlike the presidency, the Peace Prize can't be bought.
