That obscene practice was finally outlawed. EMTALA shored up the requirement to treat everyone presenting with an emergency.

Now, in our country’s rush to get back to the worst of the bad old days with the overthrow of Roe and EMTALA, it’s not simply POC who are excluded from care — it is 52% of the entire population of the USA. Women are not a minority — we are over half the population.
