Is the Constitution null and void?

Is it still the law of the land?

One Republican in the House has called Trump's bombing of Iran "unconstitutional". Reportedly, he only informed the Republicans in the "Gang of Eight" of his intentions. The VP has stated that he did not know. Democrats were not informed at all.

It could just as well have been a nuclear weapon and no one would have known.

We have all seen the law-breaking. Innocent people being snatched off the streets. They aren't told why they are being arrested. They are shown no identities. They have been given no names. They are just taken away. We do not know where they are taken or where they might end up? Because the Congress, who is supposed to be the oversight of the Executive is not permitted to see them.

We have all seen the corruption on display every day. The office of the Presidency has become a place to make a personal fortune, contrary to the emoluments clause of the Constitution. They pretend that "clause" is insignificant or that it doesn't really matter. At the very least, we might say that "clause" is "null and void".

Many Americans look at the Congress and the White House and see a dictator. Republicans only smirk it off. "Yeah, he might be a dictator but he's our dictator".

If change is coming, it had better come soon.
