MS-13 really does operate around MacArthur Park, but the fact is that their victims are local immigrant businesspeople, vendors, and trranspeople who they extort to "keep them safe" the way the mafia did. They really pose no threat to anyone outside the community, but they brutalize other immigrants around the park who cross them and, color me skeptical, but I have a hard time believing these federal thugs care very much about trans women who walk through the park or owners of small businesses catering to the Salvadoran and Guatemalan communities.

And, shockingly, there's no evidence that they busted a single member of Mierda-Seca 13.
