PA-06: Young (R) Files Candidacy [View all]
Martin “Marty” Young, senior managing partner at M3 Partners, has filed a statement of candidacy to seek the Republican nomination for the 6th Congressional District seat presently held by Rep. Chrissy Houlahan.
According to the company website, Young is “a nationally recognized expert in corporate restructuring, turnaround, and performance improvement, with over 25 years of financial and operational experience across more than 100 special situation investments. As a seasoned executive, he has successfully served as CEO, CRO, CFO, COO, CAO, and other senior management roles, stabilizing operations, enhancing cash flow, executing business plans, and maximizing enterprise value across diverse industries.”
A 1993 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point with a degree in physics, Young earned a MS in operations research from Georgia Tech in 2001.
According to sources, Young does not intend on making an official announcement about his plans until the fall.
