What exactly is so horrible about the Democratic party ? [View all]

I hear it time and time again. Tavis Smiley was just on my local news program discussing trump and was asked why democrats can't win. His answer was a snarky we don't have time to talk about that. That seems to be the theme for many when talking about democrats. I need to know what is so distasteful about the Democratic party. This country has always been better economically, socially and fiscally under democrats that is well documented. Other than trump who 99% of the time gets a pass NO one seems to want to ask what's wrong with the Republican party. The party of massive debt and constant tax cuts for the wealthy. The party that has given up the responsibility of their branch of Congress to the executive branch and billionaire donors with seemingly no remorse or concern. What am I missing ?
