2. The wall actually increased crossing at the border. Both sides of the wall are now painted.

On the internal US side, black paint. On the opposite side, which also is within the US, people crossed the border freely, painted it with murals, and returned to Mexico. With the wall, anyone coming from Mexico can cross the border and stand on US soil. This could present an interesting dilemma should a birth occur on US soil at the wall. Would the child be a citizen?
