Approximately 50 Palestinians, including journalists and medical staff, were reportedly wounded in the strikes on Nasser Hospital, the only remaining functioning hospital in the south of the Gaza, according to the hospital's director. Several are in severe condition.

The health ministry reported that at least 20 Palestinians, including five journalists and photojournalists, were killed in the strikes.

The IDF Spokesperson's Unit issued a statement confirming the Israeli strike in the area of Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis.

Approximately 50 Palestinians, including journalists and medical staff, were reportedly wounded in the strikes. The fatalities included one reporter, Al-Quds News' Ahmed Abu Aziz, and four further photojournalists – Reuters' Hussam al-Masri and Al Jazeera's Mohamed Salameh, Al-Quds News' and freelance photographers Mariam Dagga and Moaz Abu Taha.

Four medical personnel were also killed in Nasser Hospital, including Mohammed Mansour Jumaa al-Ajili; Jumaa Khaled Jumaa al-Najjar; Abdullah Ahmad Mohammed Amer; and Mohammed Mahmoud Ismail al-Habibi, a medical student on the cusp of graduation. The director-general of the Gaza Health Ministry, Dr. Munir al-Barsh, said that "Al-Habibi's dream was to wear the white coat, as a doctor, and serve his people."

"Instead, he was killed inside the hospital in which he swore to save lives," al-Barsh added.

My heart breaks every day. Some of my older relatives have left Israel for France. My younger relatives are still in Tel Aviv actively working to end this war.
