Here's my example of tariffs not only causing prices to increase but also causing long delays. [View all]

Normally this company ships out in a few days after an order and I receive the items a couple days later. After realizing it had been over 2 weeks since the earliest of my orders I sent an email to the company’s customer service. They said all their orders since Aug 6th are all sitting in customers and they aren’t hearing back from customs. This must really be hurting the company’s cash flow. It will also mean I order less as I’ll likely be paying 15% more than I would have before the tariffs. I’d read that changing trade agreements usually take a long time in part to allow country’s systems to catch up with the new amounts/restrictions etc. Who knows when I’ll get what I ordered.

Tariffs = taxes on Consumers.
