The more..well not alarm but awareness of the risks of further society wide misery I am conscious of.
But its time to buckle down and do the best you can to preserve a sane reality.
But calmness is of essence. My dad used to tell me about a phrase he learnt in the military: hurry up slowly. Im trying that.
I feel pretty calm. I expect things to be worrying (as they should be if one is conscious) but not calamitous ..well not for anyone I care about personally. But no decent human can watch society wide chaos and be tuned out.
And not calamitous exactly but with things getting consistently worse over time. Yeesh.

There are 11 cases where my mom lives (including 6 staff members & 5 nursing care residents)

I got it in June and had never previously had it. I was current with booster vaccination, but I was still very sick.

I went to the ER on Wednesday for a different reason but was tested and came up positive

Was anyone in the ER wearing masks? It floors me that most of the doctors & nurses don't? We've got to fly this week.
