41. There is the Schumer plan

Back in March when he and a minority of Senate Democrats kneecapped the House and voted to allow passage of the CR and getting absolutely nothing in return, no protections for the social safety net, he went on Chris Hayes and explained why he gave Krasnov his CR.

Not my words, Schumer's, he told Hayes that he was afraid that Democrats would be blamed for a shutdown, he told Hayes that Krasnov will burn it all down and then that will enable Democrats to win the next election. That is the strategy, that is why I get a dozen texts every day to donate money to someone's campaign. The strategy is to throw money at the 2026 election.

Last March was the time for Democrats to take a stand and demand protections for our social safety net. I was told that Medicare and Social Security would be safe. Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security are being gutted and we can't do a damn thing about it because we didn't fight back last March.
Just my humble opinion.

I'm 78, I can get by without Social Security, I have a pension and a 401k. I can get by without Medicare, but it will be tougher, I have Union provided secondary insurance plan. I am thinking about the millions of people who won't be able to get by.

Krasnov wants people to die, those who die are deemed inferior and are not a part of the remaining master race.
