Not quite.

With the $800 de minimis gone - everything from a single doll to personal notebooks are subject to tariffs. This means the filing in the automated customs entry (ACE) system has to be entered by UPS Customs Brokerage.

The average importer doesn't have a detailed commercial invoice. The UPS Customs Brokerage is now having to try and figure out what the precise codes are they need to enter.

My castings now have 3-4 lines in ACE. It used to be two. But - I don't use UPS Customs Brokerage so it's business as usual for me. It goes into the port by ups - broker clears - UPS delivers to the last mile.
