With a 15 year old autistic boy - prime target for gangs - and a daughter.
I've had so many MAGA tell me crossing the border to Asylum shouldn't be legal, or if it is, it should be rare:

they need to be sponsored, like from a church, or contact the Embassy and wait to come here (through the two to five years of hoops) responsibly.
They have to really, really need asylum, because asylum is for victims who deserve it, not some poor family claiming trying to save their teenage kids from become throw-aways or forced into life of crime, or a mom and kids fleeing an abusive paterfamilias. They really just want jobs and benefits, most of them aren't really hurting that badly...
Poor people are supposed to beg or become criminals in shit hole countries. God put them there for a reason, so as not to infect us in 'Murikkka.

To MAGA and most American conservatives, the undocumented are just coming over looking for jobs and benefits, which causes an undue burden on real taxpaying Citizens. It's Harden's "Lifeboat Ethics" Principle - however, everyone using that principle to justify their racism, or selfishness, or just contrariness, always ignore the fact we could have the resources in place to reduce the refugee crisis and those "peasants" would stay in their home regions if not for the bloody selfish patronization of a couple dozen wealthy bastards and a few hundred greedy, sociopathic CEOs who want to corporatize the world for their own comfort or sense of control.
