unsuccessful – mass movements to push out authoritarian leaders.

Lots of people determined to DO Something, but it has to be planned and coordinated to be effective. Likewise the calls for a national strike this month or between Thanksgiving through cyber-Monday. The research is that 6 million people need to sign a pledge to a general strike. That's a large proportion of the 3.5 percent of the population taking to the streets in opposition that the research shows is part of what makes for a successful campaign. So far some 300,000 have signed.

Jumping the gun will be ineffective which discourages efforts that could actually have a chance to succeed.

I hope it was just the natural feeling of we "HAVE to DO SOMETHING!" I don't put deliberate efforts to discredit the movement beyond Trump's folks, the Koch's, or Leonard Leo.
