9. Kat has been in their faces for awhile. They want to make an example out of her.

They're trying to invoke physical confrontation. I'm pretty sure Kat knows how to protest the presence of these goons in her city without getting violent. I have seen video of previous protests where she was bashed in the face with a baton and another time she was picked up and thrown on the ground for no good reason.

I wish her well in the primary and the general. We need people like her.
