28. Me too - I've had solar panels for 25 years

Also I pump up my well water with two panels into a holding tank.

My boyfriend and I build my house here in NM where the sun always shines and made the whole south side (2 floors) basically windows. So if the sun is out my house is so warm from the passive heat from the sun. Putting in more south windows can help lower bills. Most days I need no extra heat until later in the night - just use a few portable heaters. I have a propane wall heater but I’ve only used it 3 days so far because this is a warmer winter in NM.
