What do you make of this email between JE and Steve Bannon [View all]

On Dec 6, 2018, Robert Grusky forwards to Bannon a blog post about Alex Acosta as Labor Secretary, and Jeffery Epstein who just settled a civil lawsuit which kept the previous criminal case under seal and avoided any testimony.
Bannon then forwards to Epstein and Epstein replies: "Do you know Bill Barr. CIA"
The next day - Trump announced that he was nominating Barr for the AG (which was open when he forced Jeff Sessions to resign) Trump said Barr was the one he actually wanted from the beginning, but I couldn't find that he was interviewed at all in the transition.
Also on Dec. 6 - SNDY and FBI open a criminal investigation against Epstein on new charges

Geoffrey Berman was in charge at SDNY - he had been appointed as acting attorney by Sessions earlier in the year.
In the summer of 2020, Trump and Bill Barr forced him to resign.
So.... do you think Epstein back-channeled through Bannon to Trump to recommend Bill Barr or do you think he knew about it before it was announced and was letting Bannon know that Barr was CIA?
It seems to me like Epstein recommended Barr... the water was getting hot....
