Trump is only the visible face of evil that the public sees. Behind him are people just as evil who back him because he fits their own agenda.

Hitler had successors lined up who were just as evil as himself to take over after him. They would have done so if the Allies had not arrived too soon for them to even try.

There is no equivalent today of the Allies to come to the rescue, so Trump's successors will have a clear path to power.
