7. It's simple but tedious. Here's what I usually do

Generate YT transcripts.

1. Paste the youtube URL into

https://www.youtranscripts.com

2. Hit the "Copy the transcript." button.

3. Go to https://sentencesplitter.com/

Paste the text, and get the split up sentences.

Copy that.

4. (usually) go to https://pastebin.com

Paste that nice text into the text area.

Hit "create new paste"

If it doesn't object, get the output and click on "raw" (looks best)

5. Copy the resulting URL in the address bar.
This is your link to paste into DU

If (4) fails, go to https://rentry.co

Or https://controlc.com

and follow the instructions there.
They will give you a link.

I wasn't being snide. Even with the glitches that transcripts have, I really appreciate being able to copy and paste bits of it in posts.
