7. I don't believe the "driving car at us" for a second.

If I'm proven wrong, and it was somehow self-defence, I'll be shocked.

The tragedy is that they didn't just take the licence plate, let them go, and follow up later.

Or just fucking let them go.

Shop lifting does not justify the risks of a pursuit with guns drawn under ANY circumstances.
