The widely circulated footage, which features Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen roaring with laughter, stems from an October 2019 parliamentary session. During that meeting, Frederiksen was actually explaining the state's purchase of four circus elephants and a camel, and laughing because the animals had to be kept together.
