(23,720 posts)The one lady that works with me, I split 50/50 for all the jobs that we took on together. The other lady started working for/with me when I had my first surgery, I've kept her on because I have to have more surgery- I give her half of my pay when she works. When I don't work, she gets all of it. When we get a new client we split the money 3 ways. Right now I provide the supplies, vacuum, mops cleaning products and cleaning cloths and they contribute 10-15 dollars a week for supplies and gas.
But I'm thinking it is better for it to be their own business, that way they have more deductions at tax time. The main thing is- I want them to be able to earn a living wage and never have to ask anyone for help.
We should keep in touch though, if things go as planned, I will need a resource for people that need a hand up in my area.
