5. I have worked with lawyers for a long time.

There is a certain subset (and I don't think it's connected to practice area) that seem to be psychologically incapable of not "lawyering" everyone around them. They do this to their own staff and it's very difficult to work with these people. If there's any common denominator, I think it's that they were always trying to please very demanding fathers themselves. I never felt that I was valued or working towards a common goal with these attorneys.

I now work with lawyers who are not that way, and it's so much nicer.
