If this current administration was in charge then, attendees of any stripe would have been cordoned, arrested, triaged, and summarily executed as enemies of the state. Big Brother would have announced it as a great victory against Eastasia & Eurasia.

That's where we're heading. Opposition is to be eliminated before it catches hold. Blitzkrieg. Who is surprised?
