29. Americans aren't good at a 'charms offensive' in general.

Bluff and bluster, yes.

But on the list of Americans who could reasonably be expected to have some chance of pulling a charms offensive off, you'd put any Republican Trump butt kisser politician's wife near the bottom of the list.

These people are not who they think they are.

Why are they so blind to what a large part of the American population thinks of them? And the rest of the world?
I guess being full of self-importance tends to blind you to reality.
