In reply to the discussion: 'Crushed' Elise Stefanik 'Scrambled' To Convince Trump To Change His Mind About Pulling Her Nomination [View all]North Coast Lawyer
(221 posts)66. Stuck with her for another two years
I live part-time in her district (will be full-time when I retire in a few years). I was hoping to be rid of this most vile representative but it looks like we'll be stuck with her till at least until 2027. Her district isn't as hardcore MAGA as many think. There are a lot of Democrats in the southeastern part of the district (the most populous part) and in Plattsburgh (a university town).

That's too bad. Her district in upstate NY includes the hometown of my youth; still have lots of relatives there.

She had all the leverage - tell F47 to nominate her or he could not depend on her votes if she was left Congress.
