13. It happened to me in the 1990's. I was traveling with a French colleague, late at night, during a blizzard.

I think the customs agents were bored and wanted to have some fun.

We were working for the pharmaceutical industry, and they apparently wanted us to say the word "drugs," which finally we did, and they let us go.

They were assholes, but I am aware that it doesn't pay to say anything to customs agents that will set them off.
