(24,106 posts)4. On my health insurance healthy food card I can't buy either candy nor soda.
I get more than twice a month on it than I do on SNAP.
Wow! Apparently they are making a good decision by mistake.

Personally, I'd keep the same amount of food stamps but, ADD a certain amount for soda, ice cream, chips ..

In Fla SNAP comes is paid once a month to your food stamp card, you can spend it whenever you want

When I was a kid back in the late 50s, early 60s, mine was a single mom & we had no food stamps.
