Iran has some of the most capable cyber-warriors out there. But Israel pioneers some of the very best cybersecurity defenses available (US Govt is a customer). So what does this mean?

If Iran has motivated hackers that cannot direct attacks specifically against Israel, I would not be surprised if they attacked more basic IT infrastructure that allows the Internet function as we know it. Iran could wait until they find themselves in a more dire situation before mounting such an attack that would effect anything from multiple counties in one geographical area at the low end to interrupting the entire Internet on the high end.
