The IDF on Tuesday said that a Houthi missile launched from Yemen towards Israeli territory was "most likely intercepted," the military said. They noted that additional interceptors were launched due to the possibility of fallen shrapnel from the interception.

Sirens were triggered in several areas across central Israel, the IDF said.

Israeli air force aerial defense systems are operating to intercept the threat.

Israel's emergency service, Magen David Adom (MDA), said that following the sirens, they had received no reports of shrapnel or casualties.

And with Assad gone and Lebanon's Hezzbollah semi under control, this seemed to trigger a window to do this.

But the problem always goes back to "oil" and supply and transit along the Strait of Hormuz and you do still have that issue of Hezzbollah, who are Shia like the Iranians, and who might regroup and double down.
