2. There is ZERO need for a "date" on a ballot *envelope*

when the ballots & envelopes are already barcoded and stamped/scanned for when the ballot was received. The envelope barcodes ties to a voter and thus when scanned, will tick off that the voter "has voted" and can't vote again (in person).

It's RIDICULOUS.

The main requirement should be that the ballot be received by the timeframes set - either by "election day" (before the polls close) or by some designated date/time for those who are voting while overseas (e.g., military, Americans working in other countries for foreign or American businesses with offices that are not in the U.S., etc).
